Well Its here - The ASB Freshmen web site is part of the Australian Society of baking. This Web site is designed to be an information source, and place to share ideas for the younger people in the baking industry. Feel Free to look around and find out what the baking industry has to offer young people. As membership is free all we ask is that you send us an email and let us know who you are and a bit about yourself and what you think of the site, and we can then let you know about updates, exciting events coming up etc, etc.

To all Members of the Australian Society of Baking including Freshmen

Here in Adelaide we know that Christmas is just around the corner when Father Christmas arrives in a great pageant of 50 themed floats on the second Saturday in November.

It's time to check that everything is ready. Like christmas cakes, fruit mince pies, rosters, decorations, christmas cards and a big thank you to the staff.

We also have to make sure that everything is in order at home. Cards and gifts for friends but don't forget something special for that special person in your life.

Christmas time is a good time to share and reflect with others on other good times to help make it a happy occasion.

I wish all of you a good time over Christmas with your families and friends, keep safe and I hope to see you next year.

The dates are Melbourne 18 th May and Sydney 19 th October 2005

The other thing that was on my mind is that we should use our intellectual property to attract more members. I would like to see all freshmen and other bakers come to our meetings if they just happen to be in town on that day.
